A bit more information: Located in a gated, modern property near Kenton town centre, Woodcock Dell supports seven people aged 29 to 70, all with significant support needs. All residents are non-verbal and communicate using objects of reference, Makaton, and intensive interaction.
The home includes a lift, en-suite bedrooms, a sensory room, lounge, dining room, accessible garden, and off-street parking. Residents are wheelchair users and require consistent support with moving & positioning, personal care, and all aspects of daily life.
Support is provided 24 hours a day, with day shifts from 07:00–14:00 and 14:00–22:00, plus waking night cover. Rota planning is always centred around the needs and preferences of the people we support, not the other way around.
Safe Recruitment: Norwood is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the children, young people, and adults we support. This role is subject to safer recruitment checks in line with CQC Regulation 19, and appointment is conditional upon satisfactory pre-employment checks, including Right to Work in the UK and a DBS check appropriate to the role.
