As Challenge Events Lead, you'll take ownership of the planning, development and delivery of Norwood's UK and international challenge events portfolio, creating memorable experiences that inspire participation, build lasting supporter relationships and generate vital fundraising income.

You will:

  • Take ownership of Norwood's UK and international challenge events portfolio.
  • Plan and deliver engaging, well-organised events that achieve fundraising objectives.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to grow participation and income.
  • Build meaningful relationships with participants, volunteers, suppliers and partners.
  • Develop engaging supporter journeys that encourage long-term involvement with Norwood.
  • Drive activity forward independently, overcoming challenges and continuously improving how events are delivered.

This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys making things happen, brings fresh ideas and takes pride in seeing their work translate into meaningful results.

Your Day to Day

You will:

  • Lead the end-to-end planning, coordination and delivery of challenge events.
  • Develop and manage event plans, timelines, budgets and priorities.
  • Take ownership of relationships with challenge providers, suppliers and event partners.
  • Proactively recruit, engage and motivate participants throughout their fundraising journey.
  • Support participants to achieve their fundraising targets and maximise their contribution.

  • Identify opportunities to strengthen participation, supporter engagement and fundraising performance.
  • Prepare reports and performance updates for the Challenge Events Committee.
