Fundraising Coordinator

Contract: 3 Months Fixed Term

About the Role

You’ll be joining at an exciting time, with a key focus on supporting the Norwood Dinner on 16 November 2026, alongside other fundraising events, donor administration and supporter care.

Working closely with our Head of Events & Sponsorship and Head of Data & Insights, you’ll help keep the detail behind our fundraising activity running smoothly. From managing invitations and RSVPs to maintaining accurate guest information, preparing event materials and supporting post-event follow-up, your organisation and attention to detail will make a real difference.

You’ll also support the wider Fundraising team with donor administration, correspondence and accurate record keeping, helping us provide a professional and positive experience for everyone who supports Norwood.

This could be a great opportunity if you’re an experienced administrator or coordinator looking to bring your skills into fundraising, events or the charity sector. Previous fundraising experience would be valuable, but it isn’t essential.

Your Day to Day

You’ll:

  • Coordinate invitations, RSVPs, guest information, table hosts and seating records for the Norwood Dinner
  • Prepare guest lists, briefings, name badges and other event materials
  • Respond professionally to guest and table host enquiries
  • Record dietary, accessibility and other guest requirements accurately and sensitively
  • Work with the Events team to keep information up to date as arrangements change
  • Support registration and guest amendments during the event
  • Help ensure pledges and follow-up actions are recorded accurately after events
  • Maintain donor and event information within Raiser’s Edge and agreed trackers
  • Prepare acknowledgements, receipts, correspondence and mail merges
  • Support shared fundraising enquiries and keep administrative deadlines on track
  • Work across Fundraising, Data & Insights and Finance to ensure information is accurate and appropriately handled

Who We’re Looking For

You’ll be someone who enjoys bringing order to a busy environment and takes pride in getting the details right.

You’ll be comfortable managing several priorities at once, communicating with a wide range of people and staying calm when deadlines are approaching. You’ll understand that behind every guest list, invitation or donor record is someone choosing to support Norwood, and you’ll approach those interactions with warmth and professionalism.

You don’t need to come from a charity background. If you have strong administration or coordination experience and can bring organisation, accuracy and great communication, we’d be interested in hearing from you.

Qualifications, Experience & Training

You’ll bring:

  • Strong administration and coordination experience in a busy, deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent attention to detail when working with records, correspondence and financial information
  • Confidence using Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Experience using a CRM or similar database
  • Clear, professional communication skills and confidence engaging with colleagues, supporters and senior stakeholders
  • The ability to prioritise competing requests and remain calm under pressure
  • Discretion when handling personal and financial information

It would strengthen your application if you have:

  • Previous fundraising or charity experience
  • Experience supporting donor administration, acknowledgements or gift processing
  • Experience coordinating major events, invitations, RSVPs, guest lists or table plans
  • Experience supporting post-event pledge follow-up
  • Knowledge of Raiser’s Edge or Raiser’s Edge NXT

Reward & Benefits

  • 21 days annual leave + 8 Bank Holidays (FTE) + Jewish Festival Days
  • Enhanced parental pay
  • Employee Assistance Programme
  • Health cash plan covering dental, optical, and therapy treatments, with virtual GP access, private consultations, and wellbeing tools via the My Medicash App
  • Blue Light Card scheme access
  • Cycle to Work scheme
  • £300 refer-a-friend bonus
  • Career development pathway
  • Free on-site parking
  • A supportive, experienced team and management.
