A bit more information: The Green is a spacious, single-level home set around a green courtyard on the Ravenswood Estate, supporting eleven adults aged 30s to 70s with mild to severe neurodevelopmental disabilities, including learning disabilities, autism, and additional needs such as epilepsy and mental health conditions.
The setting includes 13 self-contained flats, each with a bedroom, bathroom and drink-making facilities, centred around a communal hub with kitchen, lounges, dining area, laundry and TV spaces. Residents hold keys to their own flats and are supported to maintain as much independence as possible.
People we support communicate in various ways, including spoken language, Makaton, PECS, and objects of reference. Several individuals have Positive Behaviour Support Plans, which you’ll follow with consistency and respect.
Shifts are typically 07:00–21:00, with waking night cover in place. The rota flexes around people’s routines and priorities. You’ll be joining a calm, confident, and values-led team committed to Kindness, Respect, Belonging, and Empowerment.
